1st May 1967 - Parks Department (Operations Card 26 D3)

Repair of Shelter
The PC of 1.5.67. Min 28763 resolved that the Bldg. Dept. were to be requested to repair the shelter, which included general repair of the structure and the replacement of all roof tiles with ruberoid mineral surface felt tiles, at an estimated cost of £941.  In accordance with the instructions of the GP Comm. of 1960 repair work of any kind had first to be offered to the Bldg. Dept. and only if they were unable to undertake the work could outside quotations be accepted.

Shelter
Tenders were invited on the Chairman’s instructions for the repair of this shelter.  The lowest tender was submitted by the Birmingham Building Department.  The PC of the 6th November 1967 by Min 29064 resolved that the arrangements were to be made with the Building Department for the carrying out of the repairs and improvements at an estimated cost of £1,059.
